  • January-May 2017 this year, 542 back way migrants returned from Libya and Niger
  • The number was expected to increase over the subsequent months and years. At present there are 1120 returnees from Libya alone
  • It is a known fact that most of the people who take back way do so in pursuit of economic opportunities
  • With this knowledge at the fore front, the Employment Directorate embarked on plans that can help influence policy and program to address the plight of returnees
